Gordano School is a large 11-18 comprehensive secondary school located approximately eight miles outside Bristol. Gordano School, part of the Lighthouse Schools Partnership, is seeking a part-time, term-time only DT Food Technician to support our dynamic DT faculty and enhance student learning in Food Technology.
Responsibilities- Prepare equipment and materials for lessons as requested by teaching staff.
- Maintain records and ensure up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrate commitment, creativity, and an innovative style in teaching projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support students with enthusiasm.
- Understand and adhere to safeguarding protocols; undertake regular training updates.
Applicants should have experience of food-related tasks and a willingness to develop creatively. No formal qualifications are listed, but experience in a school environment and CPD in health and safety are desirable.
