We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and committed pupil specific Learning Mentor to join our team at Ralph Allen School. The successful candidate will be working 1-1 with a female student, implementing the strategies and advice included in their Personal Care Plan. Under a genuine occupational requirement (GOR) and per the student's Care Plan, this role requires a female as you will be providing tailored support to a child with evolving needs, adapting strategies as necessary to help them succeed academically and socially.

Previous experience working with children, young people, or adults with specific additional needs would be beneficial. Our school belongs to the Palladian Academy Trust, which is passionate about providing opportunities for all its pupils and staff. A satisfactory DBS check is required for this post prior to commencement. The postholder will be expected to contribute to the protection of children as appropriate, in accordance with any agreed policies and/or guidelines, reporting any issues or concerns to their immediate line manager. Ralph Allen is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children: the successful applicant must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employers and will need to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
