We are looking for an exceptional Reset Base Manager to join our dedicated pastoral team. About You

You are someone who builds trust quickly and communicates with clarity and empathy. You stay calm under pressure, set high expectations, and inspire students to reflect, reset and move forward positively. You’ll be motivated by helping young people overcome barriers, knowing your work directly impacts their confidence, wellbeing, and long-term success. You are organised, proactive, and able to balance structure with care in a fast-paced school environment.

About the Role

As Reset Base Manager, you will lead our Reset provision, creating a calm, structured environment where students can reflect on their behaviour, continue their learning, and prepare to successfully return to lessons. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour across the academy, working closely with pastoral teams, teaching staff, and families to ensure every student is supported to succeed. Roles like this are central to helping students reflect and reintegrate successfully into mainstream learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support students within the Reset Base, ensuring a focused and respectful environment
  • Help students reflect on their behaviour and develop strategies for improvement
  • Ensure students continue to engage with their learning while in the provision
  • Work closely with staff and pastoral teams to support reintegration into lessons
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to behaviour tracking and reporting
  • Uphold safeguarding, wellbeing, and behavioural expectations at all times
