Your New Company
We’re looking for an experienced finance programme/project manager to take the lead on the tax workstream in AZ’s Axial programme (Global S/4 HANA implementation). You’ll likely be an experienced finance programme/project manager, having worked in a large corporate environment and have experience of technology enabled finance transformation.
Your New Role
- Manage the various tax workstreams within the Axial programme and ensure that they are delivered on time, to budget and in line with programme and stakeholder expectations.
- Build partnerships on a cross-functional basis to drive forward the plan and deliverables.
- Partner with central PMO teams including both internal and external teams.
- Define, develop and maintain project plans and timelines, tracking project milestones and deliverables and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Manage deployment activities including the impact on group functions, partnering with deployment leads.
- Facilitate Management and Steering Groups, driving agreed actions to conclusion.
- Oversee testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the solutions.
In doing this, you will be supported by a PSO/junior project manager.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 15 years of proven experience of project managing/programme management in technology enabled finance transformation. Ideally this would cover experience in the tax domain as a tax transformation professional.
- Experience of SAP ECC, S/4HANA would be advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills - flexible approach.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Desirable
- Experience of S/4 HANA programmes and working with a mix of internal and external partners.
- Implementation/integration of tax engines and implementation of operational transfer pricing.
