What you’ll do:
In this role as a Respiratory Account Specialist (RAS) you will sell AstraZeneca inhaled respiratory brands to key primary and secondary care customers and improving opportunities for practice change at scale, always representing AstraZeneca’s high ethical standards. You will:
- Engage with key hospital and senior primary care stakeholders to expand sales volume and share through clinical and business-to-business selling
- Work with the cross functional team and with AZ customers to identify and deliver opportunities for practice change at a population level
- Develop and drive advocacy, clinical consensus and support RHMs on improving market access (formulary and guidelines) for the brand/s
Accountabilities:
- Accountable for the development and delivery of the account plan
- Accountable for effective territory management – e.g. understand local NHS priorities to develop and execute effective call plans
- Deliver against all agreed individual and team metrics in order to achieve Account goals, investing resources and budgets in line with agreed plans / expenditures.
- Demonstrate and maintain high level of clinical, therapy area and environmental knowledge
- Ensure compliance with all AZ Governance frameworks, SOPs and the ABPI Code of Practice
Essential for the role:
- Presenting with strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (both with customers and colleagues).
- Knowledge of the customer and therapy area within area of responsibility
- Experience of formulary applications at trust level
- Strong NHS knowledge and understanding
- Full driving licence
Desirable for the role:
- Degree qualified or equivalent
- Market Access experience of gaining product position on guidelines
