Packaging Operator: Grade 6

3 Months Rolling Contract.

The core activity of the Primary Packing tasks associated with the general manufacturing process.

Each operation is performed within an Aseptic Processing Area, therefore the role holders must be medically fit to work in such an area, adhere to strict operational behaviours and be able to work with minimum supervision

The activities and responsibilities associated with the role are detailed in the Stage Specific Operator Job Descriptor. The key tasks associated with each stage of operation together with the generic tasks is given below:

Generic Tasks:

• Performing technical adjustments of specific operating equipment
• Performing product and component reconciliation’s
• Performing minor and major interventions
• Completing and approving GMP documentation
• Performing cleaning activities on critical locations
• Taking and managing QC and reference samples
• Testing in-line critical devices eg sensor challenge tests
• Gathering KPI data
• Identification and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives
• Application of Lean tools and techniques.

Primary Packing Tasks:

• Performing Leak testing
• Visual inspection of Packed Pouches
• Performing Bulk Packing for specific markets

Essential Experience:

• Warehouse experience
