Medical Science Liaison

As a Medical Science Liaison, you will act as a medical and clinical education liaison to external and internal partners while supporting the company\’s commercial, research, and educational objectives. This role will engage with customers and colleagues across medical affairs and commercial groups to provide medical and scientific support for our on‑market products as well as help launch newer products. The ideal candidate will have a combination of Biologics knowledge and experience. Please note that this role covers Cambridge & Peterborough, Norfolk and Waveney, Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes and London.
Accountabilities
As a regional field medical affairs expert, you\’ll share knowledge and insight with cross‑functional colleagues, support research discussions with clinical leaders in your dedicated region, and engage in account‑level cross‑functional working with sales and market access colleagues. You\’ll maintain an understanding of the local health economy and how it interacts with the patient pathways relevant to their therapy area. You\’ll also own relationships and partnerships with priority Key External Experts (KEEs) and support their professional development.
Essential Skills/Experience

Life sciences degree or other appropriate qualification (e.g. nursing, pharmacy)

Clinical, scientific or life sciences background – within Respiratory

Understanding of clinical pathways design and delivery, common barriers to optimal care and how to navigate with commissioners and payers across London and EoE

Communication and presentation skills

Eye for business/entrepreneurship; seek out opportunities and new ways of working

Understanding of evidence‑based medicine and its application into clinical practice

Understanding of ABPI Code of Practice and its practical application

Extensive field‑based medical affairs experience across London, engaging with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions to deliver scientific exchange, support clinical initiatives, and drive strategic alignment with medical objectives
Desirable Skills/Experience

Previous experience working within an MSL or equivalent experience role within Pharma (Ideally within Respiratory or NHS experience)

Deep therapeutic knowledge in respiratory medicine and immunology.

Higher degree or equivalent experience in science or business subject

Experience in the development of clinical trial programmes in support of the therapy area portfolio an advantage

Experience of account management

Knowledge +/- experience of real‑world data projects
