Join us as a Scientist – Analytical Science in Global Product Development Macclesfield (GPD) and help transform product design and development to deliver new medicines to patients.
Accountabilities:
- As part of our highly collaborative team, you will play a pivotal role in the analytical development of new medicinal products.
- Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering analytical knowledge and data to understand manufacturing processes, control strategy, robustness, and stability.
- You will work cross‑functionally with multiple internal and external interfaces, supporting drug projects from early clinical phases through to commercial filings.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- BSc, MSc or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
- An understanding of key analytical techniques for the analysis and characterisation of drug products.
- An understanding of the principles and management of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE).
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- A good understanding of the overall drug development process from discovery through to launch.
- Experience of supporting clinical manufacture and working with contract manufacturing organisations.
- Knowledge and experience of technology transfers and method validation.
- Experience working to cGMP standards.
- Experience with digital tools and application of Generative AI in pharmaceutical development.
- Experience with automation of analytical techniques.
