Your New Company
The Axial Programme will be powered by S/4HANA, a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented right across the organisation and will provide our business with standardised processes, enhanced financial management, common data and real-time reporting, transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient.
Our current technology is used by more than 20,000 employees daily, is foundational to all AZ entities and is central to most core business processes. This programme provides the opportunity for real transformation and to shape the way of working globally for many years to come.
We now have an opportunity for an Enterprise Process Lead – Asset Management & Product Compliance to join the programme, working within the Production to Dispatch Door process area.
Your New Role
As EPL, you will be accountable for transforming the Asset Management approach to ensure effective deployment of our SAP (S4/HANA) solution across our Internal Sites. You will lead a team of SMEs in the definition, design and ongoing improvement of the processes and tools to ensure efficient, effective and transparent ways of working. This will include all forms of Asset Management within the Global Operations Network, collaborating with existing Process Areas (such as Total Productive Maintenance) and partnering with External Providers where appropriate.
The role will also provide leadership to the Product Compliance Team ensuring we deliver our SHE (safety, health and environment) requirements to comply with Dangerous Goods Shipping and creation/maintenance of our Product Safety Data Sheets.
You will be aligned to the ‘Production To Dispatch Door’ Enterprise Process, with a strong focus on the optimisation of Assets throughout their lifecycle but support other process areas as appropriate. Underpinned by a culture of continuous improvement, the defined Asset Management processes will drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness to support the Internal Manufacturing Capability.
You will contribute to setting the strategic direction for the process with the Executive Process Owner (EPO) and drive the process towards that strategic direction. You will ensure you are not just defining the Asset Management Capabilities to support our Business today, but enabling our future needs as part of Ambition 2030 and aligned to our acceleration towards Smart Factories.

- Ensure Future State Processes enable AstraZeneca to meet all applicable Regulatory Standards, e.g. SHE, GxP, SOX, Accounting GAAP etc.
