The Axial Programme (Global S/4HANA implementation) is a large-scale transformation programme powered by S/4HANA, a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented across the organisation. It will provide standardised processes, enhanced financial management, common data, and real-time reporting, transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient.
Introduction to role: In this role, you will be supporting the Axial ESG workstream at a critical time through the remaining part of the pioneer phase with deployment of two new strategic SAP technologies: Sustainability Footprint Management (SFM) and Sustainability Control Tower (SCT). Additionally, you will be involved in planning, preparation, and deployment throughout the organisation.
What you'll do:
- Drive close alignment between Axial and BAU sustainability efforts, contributing to the Sustainability digital strategy to drive the company's broader sustainability goals.
- Foster strong connections between Axial and key stakeholders across local deployment teams (i.e. Mexico and UK), ensuring communication and alignment throughout project phases.
- Work with relevant teams to support a successful SIT and UAT for the new technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adequate preparation ahead of the UK go-live.
- Clarify roles and responsibilities at go-live, ensuring that the local UK team, global sustainability team, and Axial team understand their duties and expectations.
Essential Skills:
- Significant experience and expertise in ESG strategy and reporting.
- Applied domain knowledge of ESG requirements and the changing landscape, including the ability to explain sophisticated concepts to non-technical colleagues.
- Experience of designing and implementing process change to enable business decision making in ESG disciplines.
- Demonstrated SAP working knowledge across transactions and reporting in an SAP environment, including an understanding of how data and process integrate within an SAP architecture.
- Experience of Business/IT partnering for the implementation of global transformation solutions.
- Proven ability to lead in a diverse, global team, within and across functions.
- Good communication skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives.
- Ability to lead and manage negotiations across a complex group, to a target outcome.
- Consistent track record of delivery and ability to effectively prioritise to ensure goals and outcomes are achieved.
- Demonstrated project leadership skills.
