What you’ll do:
- The New Products Lead will shape an optimal access and policy environment for AZ pipeline products, lead a cross functional team, to include medical, policy and regional access, and will collaborate closely with global regulatory and the global product team to enable effective planning.
- You will engage national, regional, and local stakeholders to develop an efficient access environment and clinical pathways ahead of UK marketing authorisation.
- You will work with a complex matrix of global and local partners on UK new products' strategy.
- In addition, you will deliver national and regional insights and anticipate future opportunities to support successful launches.
- You will shape an optimal access and policy environment for pipeline products, lead a cross functional team, including commercial, medical, diagnostics, regulatory and policy.
- Collaborate with complex matrix of global and local business partners on UK new products strategy and with global biopharma marketing companies, providing input to investment decisions.
Essential skills and experience:
- Educated to degree level or NHS equivalent
- Extensive healthcare experience
- Leadership and influencing skills.
- Proven record of collaborative working, and personal delivery to agreed timelines.
- Experience of working in the HTA/Access environment and understanding of the early payer and value evidence generation requirements.
- Proven ability to work across multiple therapy areas and or indications.
- Excellent understanding of the NHS and customer needs for value arguments based on clinical evidence and cost-effectiveness.
- Proven project management skills.
- Previous accountability for customer relationship management.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Master’s degree in Evidence based medicine, Epidemiology, Public Health, Economics or related field
- Experience of working with NICE, AHSN’s, NHSX or Health Data Research (HDR UK)
- Experience working in the UK HTA/Access environment
- Experience of working with the NHS
