We invite you to become a key contributor to the UK Oncology Business Unit in the role of Learning and Capability Development Manager. This role is crucial in shaping the development of organisational capabilities that enable future business growth and commercial impact.
Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative capability programmes that equip teams with futureâfit skills, support evolving goâtoâmarket models, and maximise customer engagement across all channels. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with a passion for learning and oncology to play a vital role in developing the capabilities of a highâperforming team. You will work in a vibrant location at Pancras Square, London, within an organisation that values innovation, collaboration, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate within a dynamic team to ensure that our customerâfacing teams receive comprehensive and compliant training, staying current with the brand strategy, latest scientific insights related to their specific tumour areas, including disease, treatment, and guidelines.
- Enhance organisational capabilities in engaging customers, leveraging appropriate channels, content, tools and resources aligned with franchise strategies.
- Design, produce and deliver innovative and agile learning solutions, utilising digital, omnichannel, and advanced learning technologies.
- Promote the development of forwardâlooking skills and working practices to prepare teams for new opportunities and emerging healthcare system challenges.
- Establish and monitor robust metrics to measure the uptake and impact of capability initiatives on organisational performance and customer engagement.
- Partner with Global Oncology Learning and Capability Development teams to develop and tailor existing capability materials, guaranteeing all UK resources are localised, current and relevant.
- Proven record in leading highâimpact, crossâfunctional initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of evolving healthcare market challenges (UK Oncology desirable).
- Demonstrate scientific understanding with the ability to interpret and apply clinical fundamentals. (Oncology or specialty care desirable).
- Learning & Development experience (Pharma/biotech/Healthcare).
- Experience in learning technologies.
- Experience designing, communicating and delivering training programs.
