Your New Company: Are you a passionate communications professional seeking an opportunity to support a world-leading clinical operations function? A new programme has been approved in the R&D and Supply Chain organisations of AZ to support the AZ Bold ambition to introduce 20 new medicines to patients by 2030. The ambition is to implement a connected, optimised clinical planning processes & systems, with data at the core, to drive great cross enterprise decision making. Our ambition is to unlock our full potential as a delivery organization by connecting our planning processes, creating better visibility throughout our planning, and driving data driven decision making.
Your New Role: We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to support our project communications for this programme. Your role will be aligned to this programme to support the project communications of this programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing project communications and engagement strategies for the programme working closely with the Director of Communications and other key stakeholders across the programme.
- Support the Communications Director and Program leadership teams in developing content for internal and high-profile external engagements.
- Provide support for planning, communication asset creation, and implementation to support key strategic needs for the Transformation Program strategy.
- Contribute to the development of an engaging internal editorial calendar to raise the visibility of Transformation Program achievements across AstraZeneca (e.g. contribution to milestones, project deliverables, and technology innovations) and to communicate our scorecard using a range of platforms.
- Collaborate with external comms and design agencies to deliver professional-grade content into internal and external communications (e.g. custom images and graphics).
- Support the information sharing strategy for the use of specific collaboration mechanisms, such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online.
- Assist in providing direction, guidance, and development of communication team members.
- Experience in science communication and a desire to develop skills in articulating complex data fit for the audience.
- Ability to articulate data into effective and compelling communication that is appropriate for the level of audience.
- Interest or knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process.
- Strong team working skills and a willingness to collaborate various stakeholders.
- Strong influencing, networking, and team working skills.
