Macclesfield campus supplies products for most of the AstraZeneca therapy areas, to global markets and thus has great development opportunities. This position offers excellent challenges, and great rewards for the successful candidates who will gain training and experience in a fast paced, lean focused aseptic manufacture environment.
We are excited to announce that we have permanent Engineering Technician opportunities at our Macclesfield campus as we bring our new production lines into commercial manufacture and grow our engineering team.
What You'll Do
- Based across multiple manufacturing facilities, you will join our highly skilled and knowledgeable team to provide both reactive engineering support and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide swift breakdown support for various pharmaceutical assets and processes within the aseptic manufacture facilities.
- Investigate and identify root causes using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Actively lead and deliver continuous improvement activities and projects using lean and manufacturing methodologies such as RCM, TPM and CBM.
- Work closely with production operators to provide equipment training and coaching.
Essential Requirements
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent ONC/HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering field.
- Experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation subject areas (Maintenance and Fault Finding).
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working with automated machinery.
- Experience of working compliantly to GMP.
