The Director will own digital marketing performance and the enabling data and technology ecosystem, partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Communications, and IT, and champion the responsible adoption of AI-enabled capabilities to improve customer experience, marketing effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global B2B digital marketing vision, strategy, operating model, and roadmap in support of commercial priorities.
  • Lead integrated digital demand generation and customer engagement programmes across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Own digital marketing performance, budget allocation, forecasting, and optimisation against pipeline, revenue, and customer engagement goals.
  • Own and optimise the global martech ecosystem, including Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to enable scalable execution and insight.
  • Build strong cross-functional alignment with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Communications, and IT to ensure cohesive customer journeys and seamless lead-to-revenue processes.
  • Establish and govern campaign planning, measurement, multi-touch attribution, reporting, and test-and-learn standards across markets and programmes.
  • Set the strategy for SEO, AEO, GEO, PPC, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, website performance, and conversion rate optimisation.
  • Champion the responsible adoption of AI across marketing, including predictive analytics, automation, personalisation, content optimisation, and workflow integration.
  • Use customer, campaign, and market data to identify growth opportunities, improve segmentation, and guide investment decisions.
  • Lead agency and technology partner relationships, including selection, governance, performance management, and commercial oversight.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital marketing team while building strong digital capabilities across the wider marketing organisation.
  • Ensure digital marketing activities comply with applicable data privacy, consent, accessibility, and brand governance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive progressive experience in B2B digital marketing, demand generation, or marketing operations, including significant leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience developing and executing global digital marketing strategies that deliver measurable pipeline, revenue, and customer engagement outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, prioritising investment, and communicating performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and enterprise martech ecosystems.
  • Proven track record of establishing marketing measurement, ROI, attribution, and executive reporting frameworks.
  • Broad expertise across SEO, AEO, GEO, PPC, paid social, marketing automation, website optimisation, and conversion strategy.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Communications, and IT to accelerate growth.
  • Strong leadership presence, people management capability, and experience influencing across a complex matrix organisation.
  • Proven ability to lead change and responsible AI transformation within marketing, including automation, predictive modelling, segmentation, and personalisation.
  • Strong understanding of evolving digital discovery behaviours, generative search, AI search engines, data privacy, and consent management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, vendor management, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in health tech, life sciences, SaaS, or another regulated enterprise environment.
  • Experience leading through organisational growth, transformation, or the build-out of a global digital marketing capability.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, data platforms, and advanced automation tools.
