Accountabilities
- Deliver a comprehensive second-line technical and scientific information service to external customers, ensuring alignment with company and industry standards.
- Prepare and maintain standard response documents for assigned AZ products, proactively identifying gaps in the current library.
- Create and maintain online medical content for AZUK's HCP and Patient Medical Information websites, while also supporting awareness campaigns.
- Build strong relationships with UK cross‑functional teams and the Global Medical Information team.
- Maintain a deep understanding of therapy areas, competitor landscapes, and AZ strategies for aligned brands.
- Manage AZUK's Named Patient Supply, support on product launches and discontinuations, and develop medical information insights for aligned brand and medical teams.
- Collaborate with medical field team members, identify areas for improvement in product knowledge and ways of working, and support field medical teams where needed.
- Work to all relevant procedural documents, legislation, and codes while supporting quality oversight and management of AstraZeneca's first line medical information vendor.
- Participate in audits and inspections.
Qualifications
- Life science degree or appropriate professional qualifications.
- Experience of Medical Information.
- Experience of the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Experience of external customer interactions.
- Ability to effectively influence and interact with cross‑functional colleagues.
- Understanding of basic pharmacovigilance concepts and requirements.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Post‑graduate qualification in medical/scientific discipline.
- Product/therapy area knowledge for AZ brands/products.
- Awareness of NHS customer groups and other key customers.
- Knowledge of ABPI Code of Practice.
