  • Study Operations Support: Proactively manage all aspects of administrative support for study leaders and cross-functional teams, ensuring they can focus on delivery and patient impact while you own logistics, confidentiality, and accuracy.
  • Contracting and Systems: Manage the set-up and follow-up of study-related contracts and purchase orders, including timely input into administrative and financial systems to keep studies audit-ready and compliant.
  • Issue Resolution: Independently and proactively resolve issues and challenges relating to administrative requests, escalating thoughtfully and removing barriers to maintain study momentum.
  • Global Collaboration: Work collaboratively with global colleagues to deliver a lean, consistent, and professional administration service, aligning ways of working across countries and time zones for smooth execution.
  • Process Advisory: Advise customers and peers on the most effective way to conduct administrative tasks, sharing best practices and continuously improving study administration.
  • Digital Tools and IS/IT: Administer and be an excellent user of essential IS/IT administrative systems, leveraging technology to increase efficiency in day-to-day work and data integrity across studies.
  • Customer Focus and Business Acumen: Build strong understanding of the clinical development environment and demonstrate passion for internal and external customers, translating needs into reliable, timely, and high-quality support.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead or participate in administrative continuous improvement activities and contribute to knowledge sharing, raising the bar for how we run studies at scale.
  • Training and Team Development: Lead or participate in training and development initiatives for administrators and study support staff, helping build capability and consistency across the function.
  • Event and Project Coordination: Use project management skills to plan and deliver events and small projects that enable effective study execution, stakeholder engagement, and timely decision-making.
  • High School Diploma/GED acceptable with preferred experience of 2+ years in any Drug Development capacity
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5+ years of administrative experience
  • Experience working in a Pharmaceutical/Drug Development environment
  • Relevant professional qualification in administrative skills
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency across a broad range of administrative processes and procedures
  • Ability to exercise considerable discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy
  • Demonstrated abilities to take the initiative to respond to rapidly changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently with only general guidance
  • Demonstrates a can-do approach
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to work effectively with others at all levels of the organization and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • Some Project Management skills to effectively manage events/small projects on behalf of the team
  • Knowledge of the Drug Development process
