AI Scientist Intern

10–12-week development experience running through the summer months each year. Internships are meant to be a catalyst in helping students gain hands-on learning and do not require sponsorship to work in the UK. Students pursuing undergraduate, masters or doctoral degrees are welcome to apply. A salary will be paid.

We are looking for a talented AI Scientist Intern to join our team for an exciting internship opportunity. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced AI scientists, gaining practical experience in deep learning, diffusion models, and leveraging PyTorch and Python for AI model development. While prior experience is a plus, we value enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a passion for AI.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the AI research team to develop and implement deep learning models.
• Assist in projects involving diffusion models and their applications.
• Learn and apply PyTorch and Python for AI model development.
• Contribute to the design and execution of experiments under guidance.
• Work on real-world projects with opportunities for skill development.

Requirements:

• Enthusiasm and passion for AI and machine learning.
• Good understanding of deep learning concepts.
• Good experience with Python and PyTorch.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Projects related to diffusion models.
• Working knowledge in protein engineering is a bonus.
