The Global Project Leader will work closely with the Global Product Lead and be accountable for the delivery of product strategy with focus on early stage assets currently requiring rapid acceleration through Phases I - III. Demonstrating your broad experience, you lead the cross-functional Global Product Team (GPT) to deliver successful global product strategies. You will actively collaborate externally as well as internally to ensure functional expertise is brought to bear on relevant product discussions.
The Global Project Leader is responsible for:
- Delivery of product strategy as defined and agreed with the Global Franchise Head and Global Product Lead.
- Driving value creation for your products, including development, approval, growth and maturity, integrating internal and external perspectives.
- Partnering with commercial teams to deliver strategies to improve value.
- Delivery and maintenance of integrated product development plans.
- Delivery of differentiated Target Product Profiles (TPP) and Target Product Claims (TPC).
- Driving continued new value generation.
- Operational execution of governance-approved business cases on time, while meeting costs and quality standards.
- Identification of risks, opportunities, and issues within your product areas.
- Identification of possible novel ways to accelerate development & enhance value for patients.
- Supporting business development opportunities within Vaccines and Immune Therapies.
- Being an ambassador for the indication or asset internally & externally.
- Engaging and consulting with key external experts.
- Establishing and nurturing effective networks.
- Delivery of product information to support internal and external business portfolio reporting.
- Development of materials for discussions with Investor Relations.
- Leading an effective GPT to drive timely and effective decision making and delivery of agreed objectives, including the use of agile sub-teams.
- Collaborating with a global cross-functional team responsible for the delivery of the indication/products.
- Supporting partnerships and alliances, nurturing productive working relationships.

- Science-based degree (or equivalent) and/or will be medically qualified.
- Broad experience of drug product development.
- Experience in vaccine development, or infectious diseases or immunology.
- Expertise in some areas of the drug development process.
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information as business language.
- Proven track record in delivering drug development projects.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Strong influencing and communication skills, with both internal and external partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills, passionate, and have the drive to succeed.
- Entrepreneurial and agile in the style of working, open to change and new ideas.
- Proven ability to learn new information rapidly and effectively.
Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification (or equivalent).
- MBA.
