The company not only has an extensive research and development department but also in-house testing facilities where new designs and customer-specific material mixtures are further developed. Headquarters are located in the US with additional locations in Germany and Austria.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for a defined customer base, acquiring new customers in the wind, metal and oil & gas sectors throughout the UK
  • Independently develop medium and long-term customer strategies
  • Conduct active contract and price negotiations with customers
  • Part of customers' commercial and technical projects, also as project manager if required
  • Contact person for complaints etc.
  • Responsibility for active observation and the exchange of technical trends

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in mechanical engineering or plastics technology or a comparable qualification
  • Initial experience in the sale of complex technical products or alternatively have experience as a design engineer or application consultant in the technical field
  • Strong in implementation, customer-oriented and a sense of urgency
  • Analyze and evaluate complex technical topics
  • An appropriate degree of persuasiveness, motivation and assertiveness
  • Written and spoken German and English language skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Good and friendly interaction with colleagues
  • Independent, responsible and reliable way of working
