Aston Tower Multi-Academy Trust is seeking to grow and develop further the excellent practice at its founding school, Aston Tower Primary. The successful candidate will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will advise on and implement the day-to-day support that enables the school and our trust to operate effectively and efficiently.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of the school and the development of our multi-academy trust. As School Business Manager, you will lead on all financial matters, ensuring the school’s and trust’s successful financial performance and that all financial decisions are clearly linked to our strategic goals.
You will be expected to support the Executive Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher with the strategic financial planning and management of the school; advise leaders and the Trust Board on all financial matters; and lead on income generation. You will be the Trust’s Chief Financial Officer.
You will be an excellent communicator, able to present both written and verbal information. You will be a strategic leader who is able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, allied with a drive to help the trust and school develop and improve.
You will also be responsible for managing the strategy and operation of the business functions of our school, such as the estate, Health and Safety, human resources, compliance and administration.
