We have exciting opportunities for Retail Sales Assistants to join our team who will be our \’front of house\’ team creating our overall ultimate customer shopping experience. We have several different contracts available as follows:

  • Full time – 35 hours a week
  • Variable hours

You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service which will include providing support and assistance to our customers and processing sales at payment points in an efficient and friendly manner. You will also support in replenishing stock, maintaining merchandising stands and tidying item displays. You will use effective selling skills to highlight promotional items to customers and help achieve sales targets whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism with a \’customer first\’ approach.

We are looking for pro-active and positive individuals with a customer focus along with the ability to work towards sales targets. You will need proven sales experience working in a similar role as well as excellent customer service skills. Working within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you must have excellent organisation and communication skills which includes being an active listener with the ability to be assertive and persuasive as and when required. You will be required to work flexibly including evenings and weekends – your weekly rota will be communicated to you in advance.

The Club are continuing our rapid growth trajectory both on and off the pitch, further expanding our commercial footprint with the launch of our brand-new retail store in the heart of Birmingham\’s iconic Bullring shopping centre which opened in May 2025. The store design has taken inspiration from our rich 150-year history incorporating cultural touchpoints from Villa Park whilst integrating a museum section that celebrates the Club\’s deep-rooted connection to both Birmingham and football history. The store spans 10,000 square feet across a ground and mezzanine floor which showcases our full retail offering including our kits, training wear and a significant adidas collection.

We are now looking to continue to build our team for the store who create a best-in-class customer experience which is inclusive and welcoming for all.
