Embedded Within Our Emerging Talent Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), You Will Be An Integral Link For Our ‘Loan Players’. Your Mission Is To Ensure That Wherever Our Talent Goes, The 'Aston Villa Standard' Goes With Them.

  • Maintain world-class alignment in player care and support throughout their time at the club.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for the player, taking care of relocation and travel arrangements.
  • Uphold essential communication channels to ensure contact is maintained with both player and family.

The Person

We are seeking a highly motivated, elite-level Support Officer who speaks the language of the First Team. You understand the demands of professional football and possess the communication skills to influence the support network surrounding the player, both nationally and internationally.

You will be an organised, analytical and proactive Support Officer who is comfortable working independently as well as within a multi-stakeholder MDT across the Emerging Talent and First Team Support department. You must be able to demonstrate previous experience of delivering high quality support in a full-time capacity in an elite professional environment, ideally in a First Team or Loans setting.

Confident building relationships with staff at other clubs, you will represent Aston Villa’s performance standards in a variety of environments, manage multiple stakeholders while supporting the player’s practical, personal & emotional issues as and when required. The role requires a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends, in line with the demands of elite football. A full UK driving licence is essential.
