Overview

You will be responsible for overseeing the technical programme from which training sessions are planned and delivered for the Youth Development Phase and Professional Development Phase. You will plan, organise and manage training sessions for the U15-18 goalkeepers. You will work as part of a wider Multi-Disciplinary Team which will include ensuring a development programme is put in place to meet the individual needs of the goalkeepers, assisting the Performance Analysis Team to ensure regular recordings of games and footage feedback sessions and working closely with Medical and Sport Science staff in the management of injuries and sports science testing.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise and manage training sessions for the U15-18 goalkeepers.
  • Oversee the technical programme supporting Youth Development Phase and Professional Development Phase.
  • Collaborate with a Multi-Disciplinary Team to develop programmes that meet individual goalkeeper needs.
  • Assist the Performance Analysis Team to ensure regular recordings of games and provide footage feedback sessions.
  • Work closely with Medical and Sport Science staff in the management of injuries and sports science testing.
  • Multi-task, prioritise effectively, and work both in a team environment and independently.
  • Be available to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • UEFA B Goalkeeping Licence
  • FA Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar Goalkeeping role within a Category 1 - 4 Academy
  • A clear passion and track record in the development of goalkeepers
