The Club's Security and Matchday Safety Department are vital to the Club in ensuring that our people and premises are safe and protected. We provide exceptional service across all Club sites, and the department is now expanding to ensure we can continue to deliver excellence and keep the Club running smoothly with confidence.

The Role

We have some exciting opportunities for Security Compliance Officers to join our teams based at Villa Park and Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. There are different weekly working hours as follows:

• Villa Park - 42 hours a week (working a shift pattern including days, nights, evenings and weekends)
• Bodymoor Heath Training Ground - 40 hours a week (working a shift pattern including days, nights, evenings and weekends)

Working as part of a team of Security Compliance Officers, you will oversee and support site security operations across the Club's estate, ensuring robust security compliance within a high profile, fast paced environment. You will be a Club ambassador and provide a welcoming and professional first impression to staff, VIPs, visitors and stakeholders. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of our Club where not two days will be the same - your day-to-day activities will include (but not limited to):

• Conduct regular patrols of the Club sites as required
• Identify, report and escalate security breaches or notable incidents to the Security Operations Manager or nominated deputy
• Monitor and operate CCTV, access control, fire alarms and intruder alarm systems in line with the Club procedures
• Act as the main point of contact for emergencies, coordinating with Police, Fire and Medical services to ensure effective communication and safe incident resolution

About the Person

We are looking for people with a proactive, positive and 'can-do' attitude who thrive working as part of a wider team. You must hold a current SIA Security Guard and SIA CCTV Operator Licence or be willing to work towards it and have previous experience in a similar Security Officer role. You must also be available to work shift pattern arrangements which will include working flexibly across days, nights and weekends. You will need to have exceptional attention to detail and be comfortable in responding and attending onsite incidents with experience of managing and resolving challenging situations in a professional manner when required. You will need to be able to maintain accurate records and work with integrity and discretion at all times. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with different audiences.
