The Club’s Security and Matchday Safety Department are vital to the Club in ensuring that our people and premises are safe and protected. We provide exceptional service across all Club sites, and the department is now expanding to ensure we can continue to deliver excellence in service and security.
The Role
Working as part of a team of Security Compliance Officers, you will oversee and support site security operations across the Club’s estate, ensuring robust security compliance within a high profile, fast paced environment. You will be a Club ambassador and provide a welcoming and professional first impression to staff, VIPs, visitors and stakeholders.
Your day-to-day activities will include (but not limited to):
- Conduct regular patrols of the Club estate as required
- Identify, report and escalate security breaches or notable incidents to the Security Operations Manager or nominated deputy
- Monitor and operate CCTV, access control, fire alarms and intruder alarm systems in line with the Club procedures
- Act as the main point of contact for emergencies, coordinating with Police, Fire and Medical services to ensure effective communication and safe incident resolution
The Person
You must hold a current SIA Security Guard Licence and have previous experience in a similar Security Officer role. You must also be available to work shift pattern arrangements which will include working flexibly across days, nights and weekends. A SIA CCTV Operator licence is also needed.
You will need to be able to respond and attend onsite incidents with experience of managing and resolving conflict and challenging situations in a professional manner whilst maintaining confidentiality. You will be a team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude, to achieve a common goal as well as someone who has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with different audiences.
