The Department of Psychology invites applications for a Lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy to join our collaborative and forward‑thinking academic community. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to and enhance teaching and research through professional practice, scholarly expertise and teamwork.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Deliver training to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Develop and deliver accredited undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes.
  • Mentor students and contribute to a positive academic culture.

Qualifications

  • Early stage of academic career but an established track record of research excellence and appropriate publications.
  • Track record or potential in securing research funding, with a clear ambition to develop internationally recognised research programmes.
  • Experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level is expected.
  • Strong commitment to collaborative work and student success.
