The Department of Mechatronics, Biomedical and Design Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Designer/Lecturer to provide maternity cover within the Product Design group. This fixed-term role focuses on teaching product/industrial design subjects, supporting students across design thinking, CAD, prototyping skills and final-year project work.
You will join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering innovative, practice-led design education that prepares students for careers in product and industrial design in a university focused on maximising the employability of its students and will, as such, be expected to pick up all the standard duties of a lecturer within the department.
You will have a keen interest and experience in teaching students, and have experience which supports you in this mission, this could be either academic research or industrial experience.
