You will ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are followed as per company policies and procedures, which will include accident reporting/investigation and delivery of toolbox talks. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Reporting and completing staff rotas to maximise the use of internal staff.
- Providing the focal point for the client for compliance, audit, health & safety and cleaning schedules.
- Pitching in with a variety of tasks linked to your job to support your manager, your team and our client.
To be successful in the post, we are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor who will lead a team to ensure the provision of a high standard of cleaning. You will help your team exceed expectations regarding the cleaning of each common area within the shopping centre, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business through cleaning standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and motivating your team to deliver and maintain the high cleaning standards set by the company and our client.
- Communicating with your team and providing feedback to our customer on a regular basis.
- Arranging cover, supplies, training, and on-site support.
- Monitoring standards electronically and reacting to findings, plus reporting any issues to your Regional Operations Manager.
- Overseeing and assisting with the cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms.
- Conducting cleaning audits on a monthly basis and escalating any areas of concern for support from the Regional Operations Manager.
- Managing the ordering of consumables, updating the stock management system, and distributing to cleaning cupboards.
We require a minimum of 1 year’s supervisory experience in cleaning and/or cleaning management role within the commercial sector or similar customer focused service role. However, full training and support is offered at all times.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to develop their skills within the cleaning industry, working within a great environment. You will need to have excellent customer service skills, be able to work to deadlines, prioritise, and be flexible with working hours and days.
