You will ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are followed as per company policies and procedures, which will include accident reporting/investigation and delivery of toolbox talks. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Reporting and completing staff rotas to maximise the use of internal staff.
- Providing the focal point for the client for compliance, audit, health & safety and cleaning schedules.
- Pitching in with a variety of tasks linked to your job to support your manager, your team and our client.
To be successful in the post, we are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor who will lead a team to ensure the provision of a high standard of cleaning. You will help your team exceed expectations regarding the cleaning of each common area within the shopping centre, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business through cleaning standards.
The experienced Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Planning and preparation attributed to the day-to-day operation of the Shopping Centre cleaning.
- Ensuring the cleaning team are trained and motivated to consistently deliver a high-quality service.
- Managing and motivating your team to deliver and maintain the high cleaning standards set by the company and our client.
- Communicating with your team and providing feedback to our customer on a regular basis.
A minimum of 1 yearβs supervisory experience in cleaning and/or cleaning management role within the commercial sector or similar customer focused service role is desired; however, full training and support is offered at all times.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to develop their skills within the cleaning industry, working within a great environment. Responsibilities include:
- Arranging cover, supplies, training, and on-site support.
- Leading by example on using machinery.
- Monitoring standards (electronically) and reacting to findings, plus reporting any issues to your Regional Operations Manager.
- Overseeing and assisting with the cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms.
- Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance.
- Delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
- Conducting cleaning audits on a monthly basis and escalating any areas of concern for support from the Regional Operations Manager.
- Managing the ordering of consumables, updating the stock management system, and distributing to cleaning cupboards.
Excellent customer service skills are essential. You should be able to work to deadlines and prioritise, as well as being flexible with working hours and days.
