Aston Murray is currently recruiting a Finance Director for a private equity‑backed and rapidly growing multisite B2C services business based in Derby.

This Finance Director role reports to the CFO and will be responsible for: managing and developing the finance team; delivering consolidated monthly management accounts and supporting board‑pack financial commentary; cash‑flow and liquidity management; budgeting and forecasting; covenant reporting; identifying and implementing more efficient systems and processes; improving the financial control environment; post‑acquisition integration of new sites; managing relationships with external advisors including auditors, banks and tax advisers; and ensuring all regulatory reporting requirements are met for all UK statutory entities.

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified accountant; have excellent team management and development skills; have very strong communication skills; and have strategic vision to be able to see the big picture. Prior experience of working in a private equity‑backed business would be advantageous but is not essential.
