We’re seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) team. As part of your role, you’ll learn how we achieve leadership in powertrain sound quality and vehicle refinement. Giving you the chance to work on cutting-edge projects across the Aston Martin portfolio.

About the role:

As a Graduate Engineer, you’ll become a valued member of our NVH team, where you’ll immerse yourself in our unique vehicle architecture, technology, digital toolchain, and brand sound. This rotational role spans over two years and allows you to gain hands-on experience across various areas, including Product Design and Development, Vehicle Performance, Launch and Manufacturing Support, and more. Working alongside a collaborative, cross-functional team, you’ll help develop a key attribute for everything from hypercar to SUV, V12 to battery electric vehicle.

You’ll need to:

  • Be a team player with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with others cross functionally and communicate well across all levels
  • Have an Acoustical/Mechanical Engineering Degree, preferably with significant NVH specific modules like Acoustics, Audio and Signal Processing, Systems Design, Noise and Vibration Control, Aeroacoustics, Active Control of Sound and Vibration, Theoretical and Computational Acoustics, Psychoacoustics, Vehicle Dynamics, Advanced Mathematics like Nonlinear Ordinary Differential Equations, Matrices.
  • Have sound and vibration measurement experience (Siemens TestLab, Head AcousticS Suite or similar acquisition and analysis solution)
  • Have some coding and/or CAE experience (Nastran, Astran, Optistruct, ADAMS, Matlab, Python)
  • Be enthusiastic about advancing your career and developing technical expertise
