Programme Management Degree Apprentice

What will you do

• Keeping the Bill of Materials (BOM) current by seamlessly tracking parts across various areas of the business, from Engineering and Supply Chain to Purchasing and Finance. 

   

• Assisting Programme Leaders in preparing and maintaining ‘Open to Go’ (Parts Tracking) documents for both prototype and production vehicle builds. 

   

• Teaming up with Engineering and Purchasing to secure the timely delivery of prototype and production parts from suppliers. 

   

• Updating and managing the BOM with detailed purchase order information (order numbers, timings, quantities) to ensure build precision. 

   

• Acting as the first responder for any part shortages or supply challenges, working proactively to find quick solutions. 

   

• Generating and sharing reports on critical project metrics like Releasing Status, Concern Status, and Parts Supply to keep the team informed and aligned. 

   

• Rotating through multiple teams to build an adaptable skill set and gain a comprehensive understanding of Aston Martin’s operations.

   

• Day release arrangement, attending Coventry University

   

Qualifications

We’re searching

for an individual who is captivated by the automotive industry and

who has

an insatiable curiosity for project management within this sector. You should possess foundational problem-solving skills that help you tackle challenges head-on and contribute meaningfully to change management. Proficiency in computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, is essential, along with an ability to prioritize tasks like a pro. Your knack for creating insightful KPIs and reporting them using Excel and PowerPoint will set you apart.

If you are enthusiastic, motivated, and ready to take the wheel in your career journey, Aston Martin’s apprentice programme is your ticket to growth and success

• 2 A Levels at Grade B or above, including Maths. 

   

• or a Distinction in a BTEC National Engineering subject.

   

• Able to commute to the Gaydon site by personal transport. 

   

• Able to attend Coventry University by personal transport as and when required.
