What Makes This Opportunity Unique?

What makes this opportunity unique is the chance to learn every aspect of manufacturing, fitting, and repairing trim components for Aston Martin vehicles to the highest standards. You will work with a variety of materials to create and restore components while providing exceptional care for customers’ vehicles and ensuring their satisfaction. Every task will be carried out safely, efficiently, and with environmental awareness, allowing you to build an exceptional skillset and grow into a qualified Vehicle Trim Technician. Through formal training, you will gain the necessary qualifications and practical knowledge to thrive in this field.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Learn, assist, and carry out work within manufacturers’ repair guidelines and times.
• Advise and report on trim requirements noticed while working on vehicles.
• Note and record on job cards and other media as required, all parts, components, and consumables used.
• Learn all aspects of Aston Martin’s IT System (DCS) and use it effectively.
• Maintain the security of customers’ vehicles while in your custody, including personal effects and contents.
• Seek to minimize wastage of all materials.
• Carry out all work to the highest standard to ensure total customer satisfaction.
• Read, understand, and implement technical service instruction data and work instructions.
• Read and interpret design drawings, both paper-based and CAD.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy in line with the 5S process.
• Day release arrangements
   

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a creative thinker with practical, hands-on skills who can work with diverse materials. You should be organized, methodical, and adaptable to new technologies and methods, with a strong foundational education, particularly in English, Math, and IT (including Microsoft Office). A willingness to learn and understand CAD during the apprenticeship is essential. Above all, we seek an enthusiastic team player with a passion for excellence.

Essential requirements:

• GCSE’s grades 4-9 in Maths, English and a Science subject or equivalent.
• Able to commute to the Newport Pagnell site by own means/personal transport.
• Able to attend Engineering Trust Bicester* by own means/personal transport.
