What You’ll Be Doing:

This apprenticeship combines old-school coachbuilding with the use of cutting-edge technology. Apprentices will be taught about:

• The history and development of materials and vehicle construction,
  hand skills, technical drawing and pattern development,
  welding, fabrication including bending, folding, shrinking, and stretching,
  wheeling, making bucks, removal and replacement of components.
• Block release arrangement (1 week every six weeks) at Heritage Trust Surrey*

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking an individual who is ready to embrace challenges and think creatively. You should be confident and proactive, with a natural curiosity and a passion for learning. Organization and a methodical approach will help you excel, along with the ability to quickly grasp new skills. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, so being a strong team player who thrives in a creative environment is essential. Most importantly, you should be excited to explore the unique fusion of traditional techniques and modern innovation that defines our craft.

Essential requirements:

• 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at Level 4-9/ Grade A*-C to include Maths and English
• Able to commute to the Newport Pagnell site by own means/personal transport.
• Able to attend Heritage Trust Surrey* by own means/personal transport.
