We have a new opportunity to be part of our Facilities team in the role of Facilities Maintenance Engineer .
This role is your chance to play a pivotal part in driving excellence within a high-performance environment. You’ll ensure all assets are safe, efficient, and meet the highest standards, keeping us at the forefront of innovation and compliance. By maintaining the asset care register, enhancing equipment reliability, and managing critical spares, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations. Working to TPM and PPM schedules, and maintaining a world-class facility, you’ll directly contribute to our relentless pursuit of consistently being a top-three team in the FIA Constructor’s Championship.
What you will be doing:
- Responding to breakdowns and conducting fault diagnosis, getting kit back online, and using root cause analysis to correct and prevent future failure.
- Ensuring TPM and PPM systems are correct and up to date.
- Carrying out planned scheduled maintenance and servicing.
- Developing and identifying key spare parts inventory to help reduce machine downtime.
- Managing service contractors.
- Working cross-functionally as a team player where jobs require it.
- Working both alone and as part of a team, being proactive, responsible, and professional at all times.
Key skills and knowledge required:
- Possess an excellent working knowledge of, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
- 18th Edition certified.
- Knowledge of SFG20, workshop health safety and environmental controls.
- Ability to read machine OEM manuals and technical documents and interpret them into usable systems.
- Experience working as a maintenance engineer in a high-pressure environment.
- Highly organised and analytical.
- To be a collaborative team player who is self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.
- Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve tight targets and deliver results within required timescales.
- To communicate effectively, positively, and respectfully with all colleagues.
- To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
