About the Role

This position is suited to an experienced executive search researcher who enjoys high-quality delivery, rigorous research, and close collaboration with a client-facing Partner. You will support the end‐to‐end delivery of retained and interim executive search assignments, working across leadership and senior management roles, with a strong focus on HR, Commercial and Operations in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver executive research across retained and interim assignments
  • Work with the Partners to prepare client briefs, competency frameworks and advert copy
  • Map target organisations and build longlists and talent pipelines
  • Engage senior‐level candidates using telephone, LinkedIn, email and research tools
  • Conduct structured candidate interviews and prepare written candidate summaries
  • Engage in client-facing interactions alongside the Partner, contributing research insight, market intelligence, and candidate assessment updates
  • Manage shortlisting against agreed competencies
  • Coordinate interviews and manage feedback processes
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within internal systems
  • Provide market insight to support active searches and future opportunities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of research and delivery processes

Qualifications

This role requires prior experience within executive search or interim management.

Required Skills

  • Experience working as a researcher in a retained search environment
  • Confidence engaging with senior and executive‐level candidates
  • Strong written skills, including candidate reporting
  • The ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously

  • An entry‐level research role
  • A 360 recruitment or sales‐led position
  • A fully remote role

Working Pattern

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2–3 days per week onsite in Hare Hatch, Berkshire. Candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance.
