Job: Music Teacher
Location: Secondary Academy, Harlow, West Essex
Start date: 8th June 2026
Contract: Temporary full-time until July 2026
Aston Education is looking for a full-time Music Teacher to join an 11‑16 secondary academy in Harlow, West Essex, as soon as possible for the rest of the summer term until July 2026.
They are seeking a talented Music Teacher with QTS/QTLS who can motivate and inspire students and is an exceptional and innovative classroom practitioner. The role involves teaching Music to Key Stage 3 and GCSE students. ETCs as well as experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
Primary responsibilities include delivering engaging music lessons, planning curriculum, assessing student progress and promoting musical confidence across the school.
Qualifications required: QTS or QTLS, experience at KS3/GCSE level. Preference for candidates with background in contemporary and classical music, and strong communication and organisational skills.
