Aston Education is working with a thriving and vibrant British international school in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. They are looking for a full-time primary or secondary HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to start in August 2026.
The School of Research Science is a thriving and popular international school for students aged 3-18. They opened their doors 25 years ago and they have over 3000 students today. The job responsibilities include:
- As an HLTA, you'll work in either the Primary or Secondary School's inclusion zone.
- You'll support small groups of students with SEND or barriers for learning to improve their Maths, English or Functional Skills.
- You'll create an engaging learning environment and work collaboratively with the SENDCO, other HLTAs, and the teaching teams.
- You'll also support students with examination access arrangement.
Skills and Qualifications required:
- Bachelor's degree
- HLTA qualification is desirable
- Examination access arrangement training is desirable
- Successful UK LSA/HLTA experience at a primary or secondary school level
- Good Literacy and Numeracy skills
- Calm, patient and caring attitude with a good sense of humour
