About the role:

Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary academy seeking a Head of Design and Technology. Located in Lewisham, Southeast London, the school is part of a respected medium-sized Multi-Academy Trust. We are looking for an innovative and creative individual who can inspire students and lead an active Design and Technology team.

Knowledge, skills, and experience required:

1. Qualified teacher status (QTS)
2. Good honours degree in a Design and Technology subject
3. Experience teaching KS3 and KS4, with good knowledge of A levels
4. An outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of progress and results
5. Proven ability to raise educational standards and achievement
6. Understanding how to analyze and use data effectively
