Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary Academy in Bexley, in Southeast London bordering Kent. They are looking for a permanent part-time Art Teacher to work one or two days per week.

Responsibilities include:

As an Art Teacher, you will teach Art at KS3 and KS4 and you will be responsible for instructing students in all areas of Art, such as painting, sketching, designing, sculpture, photography and multimedia. You have a real passion for Art, and you are dedicated to motivating and challenging students to achieve beyond their expected target. The school has excellent modern facilities.

You have:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Degree in Art or another relevant subject
  • Successful experience teaching Art to KS3-KS4 in a secondary school
  • Proven track of improving teaching and learning in Art
