Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary academy looking for a Head of Design and Technology (DT). The school is based in Lewisham, Southeast London, and they are part of a respected medium size Multi-Academy Trust.
We are looking for an innovative and creative individual who can inspire students and lead a small Design and Technology team on KS3, building the DT offering for KS4 and KS5. The school has excellent DT facilities and machinery.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Good honours degree in a Design and Technology subject
- Experience teaching your subject at KS3 and KS4 and a good knowledge of A levels
- An outstanding classroom practitioner with an excellent track record of progress and results
- Proven track record of raising educational standards and achievement
- Understanding how to analyse and use data effectively
