Aston Education is working with a thriving and vibrant British international school in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. They are looking for a full-time Cluster Manager to teach a Year 2 or Year 3 class and to lead 3-5 Class Teachers in the same year group. This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent Primary Teacher or Year Leader with proven experience raising achievement and coaching to support improved teaching and learning in a year group.

The school is a thriving and popular international school for students aged 3-18. They opened their doors 25 years ago and they have over 3000 students today. The job responsibilities include:

  • The Cluster Manager leads the year group cluster (3-5 teachers) to ensure consistency in planning, teaching, and assessment.
  • You will provide regular instructional coaching to team members (e.g., observations, Steplab focused lesson visits, feedback, co-planning).
  • You will track and analyse student progress data across the cluster and ensure all students make very good and outstanding progress, with a focus on priority groups.
  • You will maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress.
  • You will also teach a Year 2 or Year 3 class.

The school has over 10 forms of entry on KS1 and KS2 and the successful applicant will work in collaboration with the Phase Leader and senior leaders.

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • QTS
  • Bachelor of Education (BEd) or PGCE and a relevant degree
  • Proven experience raising achievement and coaching to support improved teaching and learning on KS1 or KS2
  • Successful UK teaching experience of KS1 or KS2 at a primary school
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for KS1 or KS2
  • Primary Year Leader or Phase Leader experience is desirable
  • Commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and community
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
