Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary school in Lewisham looking for an Assistant Principal to lead inclusion and SEND across the school. You'll also work as a SENDCo.

As an Assistant Principal / Assistant Headteacher, you'll work closely alongside the Principal and the wider leadership team. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record of effective leadership leading to improved pupil outcomes, as well as a commitment to your own education. This post is suitable for someone with vision and substance, who has a track record of leading improvement in a comprehensive school environment.
You have:
- Proven experience in successfully leading SEND provision across a mainstream school or key stage
- Successful classroom experience with a strong track record of progress for learners with a range of special educational needs
- Recent leadership and management experience within SEND such as SENDCo
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- B.Ed. or degree with PGCE or similar qualification
- NASENCO qualification (Desirable)
- Successful completion of course such as NPQSL, NPQML (Desirable)
