Aston Education is looking for a dynamic Pastoral Manager to join this Ofsted Good 11-18 mainstream secondary school in Lewisham, Southeast London. This key role involves the delivery of excellent pastoral care to the pupils. As a Pastoral Manager, you will focus on student well-being, safeguarding, attendance, and behaviour management.

As a Pastoral Manager, you will ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment, driving positive outcomes and supporting students' academic and emotional needs. This is an exciting opportunity to engage positively with pupils, parents and staff to embed school values and attitudes and promote high standards of behaviour and achievement.
You will be required to process data through established systems (e.g. CPOMS) and procedures and input information into the school's MIS system (Arbor) accurately and in a timely manner. You will provide reports for all stakeholders including the Senior Leadership team, teachers and heads of department.
Experience and skills required:
- Experience of working with secondary age students and their families in a mainstream school/academy
- Experience working with people in multi-disciplinary teams
- GCSE English & Maths grade C or above (or equivalent qualification)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Level 3 Safeguarding DSL Training is desirable
