Job: Head of Religious Studies School: Secondary Academy, Lewisham, Southeast London Annual Salary: MPS/UPS inner London £40,389 – £62,560 + TLR £6,180 Contract: Permanent, full-time Start date: September 2026 Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary school in Lewisham looking for a permanent full-time Head of Religious Studies (RS). As a Head of RS, you'll provide high quality leadership to the Religious Studies department. You'll lead and actively contribute to the teaching of Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethics across all age and ability ranges (KS3, KS4 and KS5). You'll develop all aspects of the Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethics curriculum and secure the quality of teaching in the department.
