Responsibilities:
As an English Teacher, you will teach English to KS3, KS4 and KS5 and play a crucial role in helping students develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills, preparing them for success in both their academic and personal lives. You'll set a level of challenge within lessons for all abilities across all key stages as well as through the thriving extra-curricular activities already on offer.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Degree in English or another relevant subject
- Successful experience teaching English to KS3-KS5
- Strong understanding of literacy development (reading, writing and oracy)
- A keen interest in reading and an understanding of the transformative power of literacy
