You’ll provide leadership and direction to the renewal team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement. You’ll manage and monitor both team and individual performance taking action where necessary to improve, and you’ll set SMART goals, managing resource, prioritising workflow and reviewing key deliverables. Coaching and developing the team to a high level of performance, you’ll provide excellent service to brokers, prioritising renewals and mid-term adjustments to ensure deadlines are met. Being a growing business that very much listens to, and implements employees’ great ideas and suggestions, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in some really interesting ad hoc projects and make a real difference.
It\’s essential that you have strong coaching / mentoring skills to develop the capabilities of all team members. We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about the professional development of others, as well as themselves!
We will consider applications from technically-focused Team Leaders from a commercial insurance background, as well as operational Team Leaders. We also welcome applications as well as Senior Underwriters (with some mentoring experience), who would like to transition into an official Team Leader role.
