A true ‘digital disrupter’, this cutting-edge Insurtech is turning the claims landscape on its head; challenging the status quo and the previously accepted norms – and delivering fantastic customer outcomes as a result! This is a 100% home-based role, where you will be provided with all the tools needed to make a real success of this role (including a top of the range Apple MacBook with additional screens etc), and benefiting from an extremely friendly and supportive team environment. Location: London & South. This role is suitable for applicants seeking a remote working arrangement.
Due to having long-term deals in place with a number of MGA’s (each with diverse books of business), the need has arisen to appoint a Motor Claims Team Leader. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of up to 7 Motor Claims Handlers.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a Motor Claims Team of up to 7 Motor Claims Handlers
- Provide training, development and coaching to team members
- Allocate workloads and monitor performance
- Act as an escalation point for complaints
- Perform file and audit checking to ensure compliance
- Serve as a referral point for more complex or contentious claims
- Support a fully remote-based team to work toward shared goals and objectives
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience within Motor Third Party Damage claims
- Strong managerial skills capable of guiding a remote team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and challenge the status quo
- Willingness to get involved in a variety of projects and assignments as the company grows
Salary, Benefits & Progression
Salary range: £30,000 – £39,999, £40,000 – £49,999 (to £42K plus benefits). Competitive basic salary with a range of company benefits, including support towards professional qualifications. Clear opportunities for progression in the short, medium and longer term as the company grows.
