Motor Claims Team Leader (Home-Based) – Southampton. Permanent role for a self-motivated leader in a 100% remote-based environment. This role is with a digital disruptor in the insurtech sector, focused on transforming the claims landscape with state-of-the-art technology and delivering excellent customer outcomes. The company operates as a Third Party Administrator with long-term agreements in place with MGAs and strong backing from specialist VC investors. It provides a fully equipped home-based setup (including a high-end Apple MacBook and additional displays) and a collaborative, supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of up to 7 Motor Claims Handlers
- Train, develop and coach team members
- Allocate workloads and manage performance
- Act as an escalation point for complaints
- Perform file/audit checks to ensure compliance
- Refer more complex or contentious claims as needed
- Serve as a referral point for complex cases while not handling your own caseload
